New Patient First Visit Information

At your first visit to our chiropractic center, we perform a detailed spinal and nervous system exam focused on detecting and correcting vertebral subluxations. This may include palpation (a hands-on evaluation of your spine), checking spinal position, curvatures, and muscle tone.

We may also use specialized equipment to scan your spine and evaluate electrical activity along the nerves. These scans help measure how subluxations may be affecting your muscles and motor nerves.

In many cases, we’ll recommend spinal x-rays, unless there’s a reason not to (such as pregnancy, recent usable x-rays, or if the patient is a young child). X-rays help us understand the alignment and condition of your spine and determine how long subluxations may have been present.

All of this information is reviewed during your Report of Findings, typically scheduled a few days after your first visit. At this important appointment, we’ll explain your results, review any x-rays, and provide a personalized care plan.
